Rabbi Gordon, I'm a little confused about the idea of women Kohanim. I always thought the only men were allowed to serve in the Beis Hamigdish because women become tameh once they get their first periods (and once they're married it's embarrassing to have such things public knowledge)? So a bas kohain has the status of a kohain in that she can eat from the Korban but in no other way? Posted By Yocheved, New Haven, CT

Rabbi Gordon I have just started learning my Tanya with your online shiur- it is just what I was waiting for and I have just discovered it. I am sure you are aware that some shiurim are missing - eg today's Tanya Chapter 46 Part 2. 10th of Iyar. Or is it just that I can't find it??? Very disappointing! Dear Rabbi Gordon, What is the spiritual meaning of the contaminated garments? If it is a physical garment one can just throw it away or burn it, but it most have a different meaning in spiritual matters.
