The Sephardic Minyan

To encourage the maintaining of original root traditions, The Shul has opened its doors to the Sephardic segment of the community. A Sephardic Minyan has been established to accommodate the Sephardic membership. Daily and Shabbat prayer services are conducted in the Sephardic tradition to enhance their ancestral origins. They are part of all social, spiritual, educational and communal activities at The Shul. In this manner The Shul enables everyone to preserve their respective traditions and simultaneously cultivate a cohesive blend of Sephardim and Ashkenazim into one community. These dynamics were evident in May 1995, when The Shul hosted a meeting of the Annual Sephardic Rabbis Convention. The Rishon L'Zion, Sephardic Chief Rabbi of Israel, Rabbi Bakshi Doron Shlita, addressed the conference.

The community has experienced much growth since its inception and continues to expand on all levels.
