Camp Gan Israel

Many an adult credits their lifelong connection to their Jewishness to a summer spent at Gan Israel.

For some, caught at a Shabbos table later in life, the tunes taught at Camp Gan Israel come flooding warmly back. For others Gan Israel was the launching pad into a life of Jewish awakening.

To foster an unforgettable, indelible imprint spiritually and physically for every Jewish child by providing a warm educational and stimulating camp.

Gan Israel is much more than a physical break from the school routine and activities. It’s a comprehensive program designed to strengthen the body and soul. It provides your child with a rich and wholesome summer vacation of fun and excitement along with friendship and meaningful educational experiences.

At The Shul, we seek to impart the camp environment with a combination of tangible top-notch programming with intangible yet palatable spirit and energy. The net yield is a group of children each of whom comes away from camp with a new—or renewed—connection to and understanding of the essence of being a Jew. Every activity, from sports to crafts to davening to trips, is conducted with high-energy joy and high-level instruction together with a Jewish flair.

Camp at The Shul is part of the largest and fastest growing network of day camps, enjoying a well-earned reputation as a pioneer and trendsetter in Jewish camping, with innovative ideas and creative activities.

Our Kiddie Kamp offers a wonderful opportunity for youngsters 2-3 to have their first experience in a real summer camp. The children are guided in organized activity, play & social skills by loving, patient and caring staff who serve all year-round as pre-school teachers.
