Shul Teen Club
The Shul Teen Club offers social events, learning opportunities, outings and discussion groups; teens find meaning in Jewish life and camaraderie. The Shul offers separate programs for teen boys and teen girls and 20-40 teens come to each event. Interacting with leaders who are role models, these teens can participate in learning sessions that are combined with fun excursions.
Teen Commitment Club
Community Service: Each Wednesday, between 10 and 12 girls and boys ages 12 to 15 meet at The Shul to do Community Service. Additionally, once a month they visit the elderly and the sick in local hospices, retirement centers, assisted living facilities and hospitals and bring smiles and joy to all those they meet. Members earn Community Service Hours and a certificate to recognize their involvement in doing this great Mitzvah.
Tweens
Weekly, 10 or more girls from ages 11 through 13 gather in a different home to do special projects or activities with a community service component. Past projects have included baking cookies and delivering them to Chai Lifeline families.
