Reserving your event
1. Contact The Shul office at (305) 868-1411 or send an email to to check availability. 
2. Review the Rules and Restrictions and sign your name.

A. 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date. 
B. $1,000 Refundable deposit (check).
C. Full payment must be received 72 hrs. before event day.
  • If the rented space is left clean and in the condition received prior to your event, your deposit will be returned to you within 5 business days following your event. With the exceptions of event over time, deliveries, and strike time.
  • In order to receive the Member price for the rental, you must be a member of The Shul for more than 60 days and your membership must be in good standing.
  • All delivers and pickups must be arranged and confirmed with The Shul’s office to avoid extra fees or delays.
  • All fees must be settled 72 hours prior to the date of your event. If payments are not made according to the signed agreement, The Shul reserves the right to cancel the event and any deposit paid will be considered non-refundable.
  • List of all vendors including their contact information and their certificate of insurance must be submitted to the Event Manager 72 hours prior to the date of your event.
  • Hanging decor of any type from The Shul event space ceilings, lighting or walls is strictly prohibited. 

Rules and Restrictions:
  • Proof of insurance is required from all vendors.
  • Valet parking needs to be cleared with The Shul prior to the event as a permit from The Town of Surfside is necessary.
  • If you would like to place a tent, your tent company must obtain a permit from The Town of Surfside. Proof of permit application must be submitted to The Shul’s office.
  • The Shul reserves the right to search all persons, packages, and bags entering the premises.
  • The Shul reserves the right to refuse admission or remove anyone from the premises due to disorderly behavior.
  • The Shul does not permit any weapons on our property, including pocket knives.
  • Children must be supervised at all times.
  • Please do not leave any personal items unattended.
  • The Shul does not permit the following: parking in our garage, gambling, live animals, liquor to minors, lit candles unless contained.
  • The Shul is an Orthodox institution, therefore we observe the following rules on Shabbos and Holy Days: no phones, cameras, electronics, money handling or music are allowed.
  • Please respect the sanctity of our environment and dress modestly.
  • The photo of the Rebbe can not be covered.
  • Men should wear a yarmulke or an appropriate head cover.
  • Men and women may sit together in the Social Hall but not in the Main Sanctuary.
  • Mixed dancing is not permitted.
  • Female vocalists are not permitted unless in front of a strictly female audience.
  • At certain times of the year music will not be permitted.
  • All unpaid balances to The Shul must be paid in full.
